The next stage: where CodeXon is heading
A full account of how CodeXon s.r.o. plans to grow from a focused Bratislava coding studio into a product partner for companies across Europe — the five initiatives, the order they will happen in, the risks we accept and the numbers we will report against.

01Where CodeXon stands today
CodeXon s.r.o. is a Slovak coding studio registered at Karpatské námestie 10A in Bratislava – Rača. We build new websites, improve existing ones and develop custom functionality and web applications. That focus is not going anywhere. What changes is how the work is packaged, how long we stay with a client after launch, and how far outside Slovakia we are willing to take it. The starting point below is deliberately plain — we would rather describe the studio accurately than make it sound larger than it is.
02The constraint we are solving
Almost every enquiry today turns into a bespoke conversation. That is good for understanding the client and bad for starting: scope, price and timeline drift for weeks, and two companies with similar needs receive two different proposals that are impossible to compare. Small studios carry this cost quietly. Growing past a handful of projects at a time means the commercial side of the work has to become as considered as the technical side.
The plan is not to grow for the sake of headcount. It is to make the studio predictable enough that a client can commit with less risk, and we can take on work a little larger than a single page.
03The five initiatives
These are the steps we intend to undertake. They are plans, not finished results, and we will report progress here as each one moves forward.
- Productised packages — Clearly scoped website, redesign and care plans with a published price. (status: In design)
- Care & growth retainers — Maintenance, monitoring and monthly improvements after launch. (status: In design)
- Platform practice — Discovery and prototyping for web applications: booking, procurement, portals. (status: Shaping)
- International reach — English and Slovak delivery for companies across the EU. (status: Opening)
- AI-assisted workflows — Practical AI features for clients, always with a human review. (status: In use, expanding)
04How the twelve months are sequenced
The order matters more than the ideas. Two initiatives touch the same capacity, so they cannot start together; one depends on the others producing repeatable work before it is worth opening. The phasing below is our intent, written down so a client can hold us to it.
- Q4 2026
Package the offer
Define three fixed-scope packages, write the exclusions, publish a price for each once the hourly rate is set. Nothing goes live until a real enquiry can be quoted from the page alone.
- Q1 2027
Open the care model
Stand up monitoring, a monthly improvement slot and a response path for the sites we build, so retained work covers the quiet months between new builds.
- Q1–Q2 2027
Form the platform practice
Turn the portfolio studies into a repeatable discovery method for web applications: data model, roles, integrations and a prototype before a build quote.
- Q2 2027
Widen the market
Prepare EU delivery in English — invoicing, contracts, data protection — and begin working with companies outside Slovakia once the first two initiatives are stable.
- Continuous
Deepen the AI practice
Keep AI features on the shortlist only where a person reviews the output, starting from the project-brief tool already on our homepage.
05What will not change
Growth tends to bring language that outruns the truth. We would rather set the boundary now, in writing, than discover it under pressure later. These commitments sit above every initiative in this plan.
No invented client lists, no unverified awards, no testimonials we did not collect, no guarantees we cannot honour. Scope and price are agreed before code is written. Every enquiry gets a personal reply from a person who will actually work on it.
06How progress will be measured
Growth only matters if a client feels it. We will track a short list of things that change the experience of working with us, publish the targets, and update this post as each one moves. These are targets, not results — the difference matters, and we will not blur it.
- First reply to every enquiry inside one working day.
- A written scope agreed before development starts, on every project.
- At least three published, client-approved case studies by the end of 2027.
- Majority of clients continuing on a care plan after launch.
- Zero projects delivered without an agreed change log.
07The risks we are accepting
A plan that lists no risks is marketing. Each initiative below costs something real, and we would rather say what.
- Capacity — fixed packages bring work we must deliver at a fixed scope; if we take on too much, quality is the first thing to go.
- Rigidity — a fixed scope can fit a client badly. The escape hatch is a documented path from package to custom work, not a refusal.
- Competition — companies across the EU already do this work well. Our edge is proximity and attention, not price.
- AI reliability — model output is occasionally wrong. Anything shipped to a client passes a person first, or does not ship.
08How to take part
Early clients shape how each service works. If one of these initiatives matches something you have in mind, tell us which one — a company that needs a fixed-scope website, a studio that wants its site looked after, or a team with a web application that is hard to describe. Write to Code@codexon.eu or call +421 940 629 639 and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit today.
